Anyone else have diff fluid leak with low mileage?

Saw a 10" diameter circle of oil sweat on the garage floor. When I looked underneath the 4R I noticed what appears to be the output shaft seal leaking (a hanging drip was present on the bottom side of the flange).

The vehicle only has 15K miles. Anyone else have the same issue with low miles out of curiosity?

Not the problem. Leak is from the driveshaft yolk/output shaft seal from the transfer case. The drain plug is not the driveshaft/output shaft seal. Thanks though.

I've had a "weep" from that seal for a couple of years on my '12 TE with 46K miles. I noticed it at ~25K, but it looked like it had been weeping for a while at that point. Never enough to drip.

Take it in! sounds like a pinion seal needs replaced.

While I haven't read much about leaks on the 4r, lord knows my old 4x4 used to go through pinion seals like crazy.

How's your breather? I've seen these crusted up before. When the diff can't breathe, pressure goes to the seals

Thanks everyone. Definitely taking it in for warranty. Breather is good...never been off roaded or anything, still clean underneath.
