So my wife got a new T4R a few weeks ago and when this happened it had around 900 miles on it. We took it through a car wash that we had already been through a couple times. When I was pulling out onto the road it misfired a bit and check engine and trac off lights came on. I scanned it when I got back to my shop and it had codes for 5 of the six coil packs.
I assumed something got wet even though it shouldn't have and needed to dry out. I cleared the codes and it drove fine. Later that night it did the same thing. Took it to the dealer and they say that they found a wire going to one of the coils that was rubbing the valve cover. They say they fixed the wire and swear it had nothing to do with the car wash and that it was just a coincidence. I looked and couldn't find any place where they spliced a wire. They also say they have never seen this issue before.
