Anyone have an extra 1.5" spacer laying around?

I am about to order the Toytec Ultimate kit, and I know that I need a 1.5" rear spacer to correct "driver side lean". I also know that they only sell these in pairs. If anybody has one left over, let me know. I am willing to pay!

Thanks

Are you sure you'll need a 1.5" spacer? I'd say install it first, and measure from center cap to fender on each wheel, and see what the lean is. It could in fact be .5" rear, and 1" front or something of the likes. Just correct where correction is needed. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I was under the impression that most peeps whom have done the OME or Toytec Ultimate lift had "the lean". Is that information wrong?

There's a thread on 120 that explains this. The single 1.5 is correct.

it's correct.

1.5 inch spacer is too much, you are not drastically lifting it. You are just correcting a slight lean that most people cannot even see.

You need this if you want to correct the Toyota lean.

OME 95PF5 Trim Packer Spacer

Again, search the thread on 120, since the spacer is in-board it lifts both sides and evens the lean out.

Op, I should have a single for sale in a few weeks if you can wait or don't find one in the interim

Thank you. Yes, it's going to be about three weeks before I can actually install the new suspension, so I would be obliged. Again, I am happy to pay for it as well as shipping. I will PM you my contact information.

Thanks again.

That's not true, though. There are plenty of factors that affect (the degree of) lean. It could be approximately correct for a lot, even most, guys, but it's a blanket statement, and blanket statements don't hold 100% truth.

OP: Install, let settle, and see what exactly you need/want. Otherwise, if you don't need 1.5in, have fun with the all-new passenger-side lean.

What's not true? There's absolutely a thread: rear spacers? - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum so that was true. And the 1.5 spacer absolutely fixed the lean issue, so that would be correct also.

so you're saying all blanket statements "don't hold 100% truth?" wouldn't that be a blanket statement?
I think you are mistaken on your definitions, lol. It "absolutely fixed their lean issue", and may not fix OP's. As I stated before, there are many factors that can change how a lean manifests itself. Finally, yes. I am saying that blanket statements don't hold 100% truth. However, by the definition of "blanket statement," I'm not making one by saying that they don't hold 100% truth. Saying that blanket statements don't hold 100% truth is an absolute truth, as the definition of a blanket statement includes the idea that it is merely a generalization.

Look, Stuck Caps. I absolutely appreciate your advice and opinion. However, in this case, based on the vast majority of "build threads" that I have read on T4R.org, I'm going to risk it and install the 1.5" driver side spacer. For the life of me, I do not recall a 4rth gen coil-overs build that did not have the "lean". Even Momo resolved his "lean" with a 1.5" spacer. Again, I really appreciate your opinion and words of caution.

You're wrong. The rear springs that come with the TT ultimate lift are the superflex coils which are notorious for leaning on the drivers side. The 1.5" spacer levels out the truck perfectly. This has been covered numerous times, time to do more research. Here's mine with superflex coils before the 1.5" spacer, after install it's completely level.

Lol? No I'm not. As I've said countless times, just because it worked for you does not mean it'll work for OP.

Everyone who has responded has experienced this with superflex coils. Find one person running these coils that doesn't have driver side lean, then I'll admit you're somewhat correct, till then you're still wrong. Or, install the coils on your rig and then you can talk from experience.

Now, I never said there was a lack of lean. I said the lean could be to a different extent. You really need to learn to read what I've posted.

Why are you so insistent on OP not trying this option that has worked for many others? It's not reinventing the wheel, he's trying an option that has proved effective. Did you even read the 120 thread? The single spacer doesn't just lift the one side 1.5".

Why?! What you wrote doesn't make sense or have any validity too it. All I've learned from this thread is that you have no idea what you're talking about. If you don't have first hand experience with the topic being discussed, don't contribute wrong answers.
