I installed 1.5 inch spacers, giving me 3 inches of extra width. I did this to off set my 3 inch Revtek lift. My 4runner still handles great, too great! The tires stick out from the body about 1 inch. Not noticeable but you do see the extra width from the front and rear. I have the expensive ones that also bolt to the hub in which I used locktite to secure it. And then just torque the mounted tires to 85 ft lbs of torque. Has never come loose, yet.
