i would recommend Lokey Crosslander on Dale Mabry and I 275. they installed my bumper/lift/winch/disc brake conversion/ lots o other goodies, good people, great looking shop, will meet or beat any other quotes you got for install/parts. just tell them kyle sent you.

MT Grey Rock

I just spent about an hour looking at the M.T. Grey Rock ORV site.
Looks like the trails there are everything from mild to wild...might be a good place to burn up a weekend! Looks like its real close to Birmingham....guessing about a 4-5 hour drive up I-65.

For all in Orlando there is a trail in the back of Summerport subdivision in Windermere. I think I might try it on of these days. It isn't to wild, but it does wind pretty far with many off trails in other directions. I found it on my mountain bike, but didn't want to get lost without markers to see where I'd been.

New guy here in Daytona Beach. All our good areas are being developed. No more sand dune aresa or pits in the woods left. Will be going to Ocala national forest soon though. Got a 05 4wd v8 sporty. Not looking to beat it up or even scratch it yet (I know, pussy) but would like ot get it in some wide woods trails or large sand pit areas.

I lived in Daytona for about 16 or 17 years (parents still live there). I came up here in Tally for college and ended up gettin stuck here. I really miss Daytona though --- much better than being up here.

just hopped on. i live in celebration, which is the disney area of orlando.

the ocala national forrest has some great areas to go off-roading on. this may also be a central meeting ground for all of us.

That would work for me .... I am in Daytona Beach a lot visiting my parents, so I could easily stop off at Ocala along the way.

Only problem is --- I got 2wd .... so, I can't handle much.
