Anyone in San Diego have access to a spring compressor?

Got a Top plate spacer kit from toytec to put on top of my tundra coils. I really don't want to pay a company 60 bucks again to assemble my struts and the DIY compressors from auto zone are a PITA and feel pretty sketchy to me.

When I did mine a few years back I rented (for free) a spring compressor from one of the auto parts store like Autozone or Kragen, can't remember which one, though.:jump:

Yea most Autoparts stores will rent them out for free, although you will have to put down a deposit. It is returned in full, upon return of said tool.

I know, thats what I meant by a DIY compressor. I used one before, but it sucked. If it comes down to it, getting them professionally assembled is easier then using one of those...

I got my front suspension (Bilstein 5100's) installed with Alignment for like $135 plus tax ($150 out the door). Figuring an alignment is usally $50-$100 alone that was a great deal and piece of mind for not messing with a compressor yourself.

Thanks man, I appreciate the hook-up. I ended up finding a ttora member 2 blocks from me to help. I paid 80 bucks at my local evans tire for top plate install and alignment. I had to remove the struts from my truck but that wasn't a biggie.
