Anyone install Hella Supertone horns?

Tried search, but didn't come up with the info I was looking for.
If anyone wired up a pair of Hella Supertones with the hella relay, did you run (and if so how big) an inline fuse to the battery?
The kit only comes with the horns and relay no wiring, fuses etc.

Those horns are rated at about 5.5 amps each. They would only require 18ga wire and a 15amp fuse. So you could go with the factory wiring and fuse with no extra relay. I put in Freeway Blasters in both T4Rs, by just unplugging the old ones and plugging the new ones in. No problems. The relay is there because some vehicles don't already use a relay in the horn circuit, the horn button made the circuit. I know of many, many older Fords where the contacts welded together after tooting the horn. That made for an embarrassing drive to the local shop!

dont bother with them... just go to a pick 'n pull or junk yard and get a pair of horns outta some 90's chevy truck and use them... the hella horns sound so damn puny... its like a big civic horn...

ya if u want horns with sound just get some off a 99 crown vic super duty etc there cheap
