Anyone installed Harmon Kardon Drive+Play for iPod?

I've searched the forums and don't find any installs of the Harmon Kardon Drive+Play iPod interface...anyone have one of these? While a bit pricey, this seems like a decent option for my '05 with the oem single CD HU. I like the controller and display option with the Drive+Play, but would need to think about install locations.

Thoughts anyone?

I have that iPod system installed in my 4Runner. With the aux input box I also purchased (A Must!), it sounds great! I will post some pics up showing my install later today
 
I am considering the Harmon Kardon system, I would like to see the pictures if you have them.

I know this thread is old...but I would like to see some pics of the install.

Sorry for the late delay for the upload of the pictures. The configuration is that the system is hardwired to the fuse box for power. Then the audio is hard wired using an aux adapter. This connects to the toyota's jbl synthesis system.

Don't mean to resurrect a dead thread, but I need some help with this particular unit.

I got the Drive + Play DPUS1 unit and am planning on getting it installed in my '06 4runner. I talked to a guy in San Francisco about installation, and he claims that this unit cannot be hardwired to the stereo. He told me that you can only play it over the FM transmitter.

Also, whereas other people I checked with told me the total install would cost $95, he told me it would cost an additional $60 for the control knob.

I'm not sure if this is correct, anyone have an opinion on the price as well as hardwiring the unit to the stereo?

The unit comes with an FM transmitter (which sucks)

I would suggest getting the harmon/kardon FM MODULATOR for the D&P (should be like $20-$30)

FM modulators work great and they are pretty inexpensive..

You wont need any antenna adapters for your vehicle...
And if your having it installed at the same time as the D&P they shouldnt charge extra, since they already have to go in there..
