Anyone near Pensacola FL? Rack Build

sure, i would consider anything i felt i could be competitive with. but once again, i would be reliant upon another members' ride for the build-up, and of-course their time. i havent been able to line anything up with my local contact so i'm still on the hunt for a 4th gen i can get a good eyeball on. i would be willing to pay someone (within reason) for their time or offer to help with any 4-handed projects they may be putting off.

I was thinking it should be pretty easy IF you are able to get your hands on a 4th gen for a rack build. Wish I could help you out, been patiently waiting for a 4th gen rack ever since you first posted your 3rd gen rack pics here. Great work, I just hope I can find a way to convince the wife that I need it!

Sorry I missed the bump. Still at a stand still on a 4th gen rack. Nothing ever worked out locally. I have a feeling the shape of the rack I have for 3rd gens will be pretty close to what a 4th gen would need. If someone was willing to go crazy with a camera and tape measure I may could set one up.

Well, I'm about 2 hrs away, and have been patiently waiting for this to be available. I suspect I may be the guinea pig an first person to get one?

I suppose two trips can be in order, one or measurements an one for fitment?

Possibly, I may can poke around some parking lots for some rough measurements and would just need a roof handy to setup the mount placement and whatnot. 2 hours is a haul though, anything you plan on doing to the truck that you'd need help with?

Yea now that I think if it, I've been looking for someone local to cap my body mounts. I chopped them a while back and want to cap them off for a finished look.

It looks like hurricane isaac is on it way though, that'll definitely throw a wrench in any near future plans
