Hey guys as the title states I wanted to know how many people use linkedin, how you like it, how you don't, and maybe I can make a few more connections. I just created mine because I just got my associates and working on my bachelors in electronics engineering and I think it will help me network and maybe land a decent job in that field. I am curious about this also. I created an account after receiving my Bachelor's in Business Administration this past May. I haven't done anything with it since I made it, though.

I'm on it. It's a good way to keep a connection to other associates of all levels, co-workers and friends that could potentially be referrals.

I use it as well. As stated above, it's a great way to make connections for future openings or if you need referrals.

Also, it puts you out there for recruiters/hiring managers to see you. It's fast becoming one of the top sources to locate talent.

The more active someone is on LinkedIn, the more your info is put in front of your connections.

I joined Likedin in 2007

It is a great business networking tool. Good tool to use to make connections inside a company to find out about working for them or other informaion.
The user groups are also good for finding out information about your career.Sort of like this forum but work related.

Recruiters do use it as one of their search tools.
