Anyone put TE tail lights on a BP 4Runner?

Could be wrong, but it was my understanding that the TE tail lights are the same as the SR5/LTD. I'm not at my computer now to confirm. But that's what I think...

I think they are different. They have different part numbers at least. From what I can tell there's a bit of a 'smoked' effect on them but I haven't looked at them in person.
OP if that's what you are going for you can buy the spray to tint them slightly. I think another user here with BP has done it but can't remember who off hand...

Beneath the brake lights is different on the trails. The actual assembly is darker, on the sr5/limiteds its just chrome.

Yes they are indeed different. I think my LE has way too much chrome and I am slowly looking to get rid of some of it.
I suck at painting so I might just opt for buying the TE tails instead.
