Anyone running 255/75r17 C KO2's?

Would like to know members' experiences with these KO2s. Happy with the size, any issue with load rating, performance, uneven wear, etc? What PSI worked out best on and off road?

I see a lot of members considering these this size when searching but am having trouble finding any first hand info.

Coming back to add pictures and info for those interested in this route.

Running 40psi provides a load of 2055 according to BFG table provided by BFG email. Running 45psi reaches 2230 by that table. Don't rely on me here of course.

Installed height, @ 40psi cold, I get around 30 7/8" from ground to the shoulder with tread bulge reaching around 31 1/4".

Coming from Cooper AT3 P265/76r17 at 35psi, my front fender went from 35 7/8" to 36 1/2".

Right now, new, they're quiet (didn't notice the difference coming from my AT3), ride nice on and off road. No noticeable vibrations or issues when braking hard.

Will update with mpg change after a few fill-ups.

I'm running exactly that setup on my '06 Sport V8. I love it. I run at 40psi highway. Comfort and handling are great, they run very smooth, and there is no noticeable mileage hit. They've done great on the mountain passes on ski trips, as well. I have about 9000 miles on them thus far. I get 17 mpg at interstate speeds, about 17.5 around town, and 19 at more moderate (50-60mph) highway speeds.

I've only done a little bit of moderate off-roading with them, but they worked well. I don't have on-board air on the '06, so I didn't air them down.

I've also been running C-rated BFG KO's on my '94 for 8 years for more serious offroading and am very satisfied with the performance.

I haven't checked it with a calipers lately, but eyeball observation looks very good. If I think about it I'll make some measurements and post them.

I've been looking into this same tire size of the BFG and can't find much info, so glad I found this!

I'm considering these KO2 255/75r17 with 5100's + wheelers T1 & T13 springs.

How did you like the setup? Any other photos? Thanks!

Back for an update at around 14K miles on these KO2's.

Still happy with these tires.

I notice some road noise now at around 35 or 40 mph (can't recall exactly) on certain paved road surfaces. I have to be paying attention to notice.

Did take a MPG hit coming from AT3, estimate between 0.5 to 1.

No wet weather complaints.

Yet to have a traction issue off-road in dry, dusty and rocky socal conditions.

Never had rub on Bilstein 5100's with stock OEM wheels. Switching to SCS F5 wheels I had liner rub in full turn reverse.

Settled on inflating to 45psi cold on-road and have had even tread wear so far. That psi is not pleasant for quick jaunts off-road if you're the lazy type.

To use 16" wheels, you will have to grind some metal off of the calipers.

Oh, I never knew that, maybe I will stick with the stock 17's then. Thanks for letting me know.
