Why are they so cheap??? I'm not complaining by any means, they're just like $50-$100 cheaper per tire than most other 285's

No idea why they are priced the way they are. A few 3rd gens on here are running them, can't remember who though.

I was the first here to run them in the 295 size. Great tire at a price that cant be beat.

The Iroks? No clue, but I paid $317 a piece for the 315/75r16's, regular RMITA price.

oh yeah the 315/75r16 are pretty expensive, I was looking at the 285/75r16's and they are only $161 a tire.

I needed some cheap tires before I could get my lift on so I ended up with the Irok ND in 235/85R16. I know it's not the size your looking for but just to give a quick review, their a awesome summer tire. They do hum a bit but not to unpleasant ( my 2 year old son says it sounds like a airplane ). Icy roads are a little scary even with the skinny tire. Performance in the sticky gummy clay we have around our ranch is better then great ! I had a guy do a double take as I drove up a embankment to let him pass ( our roads are too narrow for 2 trucks.)
