Anyone running RACE RUNNER coilovers?

Just saw some race runner coilovers for a good price. Does anyone have them on their rig? If so how do you like them. Or should I just save some $$$$ and do the tundra struts and just upgrade to the tundra 5100s later?

I would appreciate your input.

SAW's will be much better than Tundra/5100 set up. Most of the coilovers (depending on which ones you are looking at) are all the same and are IMO a better set up than the Tundra/5100 set up. There is more maintenance in them, but you have much more control of the ride quality and height. I'd definitely go with them if the price is right.

I run the Camburg re-branded race runners and I love them. Very smooth on road and handle offroad like a champ.

Thanks for the input. I think I might go that route aswell. I found a pair for $400. Ready to bolt on. No rebuild needed according to the current owner. I might end up getting them on Sunday. The only draw back is that it's a 90 min drive each way to pick them up. But it'll be worth it.

I just installed a set of the sway away racerunners 2 days ago, they are great! never expected the ride to be so nice. night a day difference. i like the fact they are rebuildable. i will be buying camburg UCA's today. you will not go wrong if the ones u are planning to buy are not leaking and have no issues. i have my setup with 891 rear springs and bilstein 5100 series shocks.

So I ended up picking up the coilovers. Just have one question for you. How far down did you set the adjustment collar at? And how much lift did you get?

i screwed the collar on the passengers side 15 threads and the drivers side 18 threads. one side is different than the other. maybe because of the half tank fuel i had. as far as how much lift, I'm guessing I'm at 2 1/2. hard to tell and i have no idea how to tell. i don't know how much i had stock plus account for sagging springs...hmmmm. maybe someone else can chime in. i wish i knew how many thread screwed down would set me at 3". anyways, good luck with them. i love mine and also BTW, i have 650lb eibach silver coils and 110 lb plate front bumper
