stock Hu usually cheap as dirt unless it`s Nav unit. usually not worse selling.

I'm thinking of putting the Entune unit on EBay with a reserve of maybe $300. Reasonable? I think any less and I'd keep it just in case I ever needed to go back to stock.
I suppose selling it would depend strongly on how many people are searching for it.

There is zero info out on the connections and wiring diagrams of Entune HU's to know if they are plug and play friendly with the other factory HU's. I highly doubt there are any aftermarket adapters out as they are so new.
When/if you take it out, a good pic of the back of the unit might help big time as I'm sure this will come up alot in the future. We have high res pics of the backs of two of the other common HU's on the 5ths and still waiting for a pic of the JBL non nav unit that someone was supposed to be taking out and posting.

I like the Pioneer P8400BH AVH-P8400BH - <b>NEW!</b> - 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" Widescreen Touch Panel Display, Advanced App Mode, Built-In Bluetooth®, and HD Radio™ Tuner | Pioneer Electronics USA . I've already done all the speakers, added and amp and subwoofer, but the HU is compromising the sound quality somewhat (though I must say it is now WAY better than either the stock Entune system or the JBL). The P8400BH gives you the functions of the Appradio 2 (really pretty cool) plus DVD, BU camera, and a better sounding HU. I like Motion-X better than the Entune nav, and I also like DashCommand. I think maybe Waze is or will be available soon, and I sometimes like to use Waze as well.
So, between improved sound quality and usable apps, it seems like a reasonable call. The only thing that irks me a bit is the need to replace the XM receiver, buy a steering wheel adaptor, and I've been told I'll need a new BU camera (can anyone confirm or deny this?).

If it was plug and play, you could start a bidding war with all of us on T4R! They old nav units are nice, but have just enough to quirks to really drive you crazy.
However you will see in the thread, that even if it is plug and play, the sizes are different. So you would have to fab a bracket.

I seriously doubt it`s plug n play otherwise I would be bidding as well.
