Anyone tried these running boards from CARID?

I was browsing around looking for running boards for my 2013 SR5 and came across two likely contenders on the CARID site:

Tuff-Bar for $122.90

and

Westin for $131.19

Anyone tried either one?

Both look like they would work nicely under the stock SR5 plastic sill which is 13" clearance so would only drop the clearance to about 10", which is pretty much what everything else on the truck clears (skid plates, fuel tank, diff, etc).

I also am looking for running boards for a 13 SR5. In my case, I am looking for something wider than OEM, for a wife's vehicle that will see street use

Any help appreciated !

I just put on the Westin Pro Traxx 4 on my 2015 SR5. There is another thread of a guy who put on a set of the Pro Traxx 5 . He has pictures in his thread. I will try to snap some pics tomorrow. I just got back from Tahoe and my wife was really appreciative of the bars. It helped her quite a bit. I think that they are very functional and look good too.

I ordered the Tuff Bar in black..... Not much info on how it actually mounts; but including shipping they were only $144 for the pair. I can afford to experiment.

They are scheduled to arrive on the 16th of January.

I'll post some pics of the install and how they perform.

For now I'll most likely mount them below the SR5 plastic sill. Perhaps eventually I might bore some holes in the plastic to get them a bit higher off the ground.

Though considering that almost everything under this truck is only ten inches off the ground perhaps having the bottom of the tube being at ten inches might be OK.
