Anyone using a mirrorless camera?

I'm thinking about buying the :princess: a Sony Alpha NEX "compact mirrorless system." - NEX-3K/B

According to the stats it should be a better camera than mine, but I doubt I'll be using the NEX as I'm hoping to get better glass for Christmas.

I'm looking at the 3 because she doesn't need anything better and it includes a removable flash and shoots at 7 fps while the new C3 only does 5 fps and doesn't seem to have any upgrades that I think she needs.

I'd like to get the Nikon 1 (brand loyalty) but it costs too much for fewer features in comparison (smaller image sensor, less MP, lower noise at high ISO, etc.) and I really like the tilting screen on the NEX cameras.

I know there are some photogs here just thought I'd see what people thought.

They're pretty interesting but I'm not sure what to think of them, I'd like to play around with one before judging. I'm in the market for a smaller camera....

They have some great specs, the image sensor is almost as large as my Nikon D40X DSLR, HD Video recording, interchangeable lenses, and most impressively super HIGH shutter speeds (since the mirror doesn't have to flip).

The sony I'm looking at has a shutter speed of 7 fps with 25 AF points, but most impressive is the rate of the Nikon Ones. They will shoot 60fps without steady focus, 30 fps with 25 point AF, and 10 fps with 73 point AF. They shoot MF video at 1200 fps so that things "can be slowed down to show things the naked eye can't see."

I don't need anything that fast, but it is very impressive.
