2004 V6 with 90,000 (will be over 100,000 by year end)... It's been perfect... only needed to replace brakes & tires

03 V8 4x2 w/106k will be 11k end of next week (making a trip to the west coast and the grand canyon). no probs whatsoever. runs perfect.
I was pumping gas to day and I heard this voice say so how do you like that piece of junk....
The guy was joking because he also was driving a 4th Gen 4Runner that was an 03 Limited V8 2WD and we got to talking. Get this are you ready? He had 276,000 miles he has just done maintenance, tires and is on his 3rd Timing belt.
I guess Toyota's built today can go great distances

I know this isn't 4Runner specific, sorry, don't grill me, but this speaks to Toyota quality. I have a 91 Geo Prizm (Toyota Corolla) with 175,000, all I've done is brakes, tune up, timing belt, ac is still ice cold, has never needed a recharge either. Previously owned a 92 Toyota extended cab pickup 2x2 22RE 4cyl, sold it with 144k, still had orig clutch and rear brakes, it was just getting broke in.
Should have my 08 4Runner in a few weeks.

The way I'm going, it's going to take another 6 years for me to break 100k. 40k in 4 years, lol.
100k is just the starting point for Toyotas. Check out the boys over on the lexus owners club...several LS/ES/GS with 300k+ and still going like the day they rolled off the lot. A lot of the exact same parts, probably 99% so.
