Movie revival hahaha
^I dunno man, I had a plasma before this one too. I play games on it all the time. I occasionally would have some Image Retention from the HUD of the game or any image left on teh screen for awhile (Like when connected to my computer) but IR is different from burn in. Never had an issue with burn in.
Really? You're lucky.
Maybe it's the dozens of dozens of hours of COD I've played on my man cave plasma, a five year old Samsung 50". Man that tv is DONE.
Now it's got a good six or seven dead pixel lines across it as well.
Don't think I'd buy another Samsung. I'll probably go LED for a new gaming display soon.
I'm getting ready to upgrade from my 50" Panasonic Plasma (give it to my daughter and replace her 13" TV in her apartment) to a 60" plasma. I can get it at Sam's Club AND a sound bar with powered subwoofer for $1100.00 US. I don't play games on it as I have a dedicated 32" TV for that. Good deal?
As a casual observer, it sounds like a pretty solid deal.
I really like the sound bar/sub setup with flat panel tv's. I have a Sony sound bar/sub that while not earth shattering is perfect for casual tv watching/movies in a living room I don't want to clutter up with a 5.1+ setup.
And while I admit there are limitations to the enjoyment of a sound bar/sub, check out the Bose one sometime. Holy funk, it's incredible. Probably very worth the hefty price tag.
Yeah, as much as I am methodical, deliberate and well versed in mechanics I am the complete opposite when it comes to entertainment. I like watching sports (I like paying them better) and action adventure movies with Big Bang Theory thrown in every now and then. I definitely am NOT an whateveryoucallit-phile when it comes to TV's or stereos. Does it have a decent picture? Can I turn it up loud? If so, perfect!
Guns made from 3D printers?! What do you guys think about this?
lol that's actually pretty cool imma have to try that
