Took my dogs to this new 'off leash dog park beach' today. Only two other ppl there and three other dogs. One of the dogs attacked one of my dogs, knocked her on her back and was attacking her. I tried to break it up and the ****er bit my hand. The woman who's dog it was was completely useless. She had it on a leash for some reason in the 'off leash' dog park but the dog was clearly stronger than her and she couldn't control it. I was able to get ahold of this dogs leash and yanked it probably 5 feet backwards through the air and off of my dog.
WTF?
I mean maybe its the first time her dog has done that but i hate when people bring aggressive dogs to public dog parks, and also when girls have dogs that are too big for them to control. I mean really, if I wasn't there I'm not sure she could have gotten the thing under control. She just stood there yelling at it as if thats gonna have any effect when the thing is growling, snarling, barking and biting at my dog. Since my dog is not aggressive it should be her responsibility to get her ****ing dog off of mine, but now I have to try to break it up and get my hand ****ing bitten. Luckily it didn't break the skin but it still hurts and left swollen red marks all over my hand.
That sucks man, I agree though.
I was in a similar situation about 13 years ago. I was walking my old boxer in our neighborhood and our neighbors husky came running across the end of the cul de sac and started attacking my dog. The owner stood on his porch with his arms crossed the entire time. I tried pulling the husky off my dog after it had bitten her multiple times while I was yelling at the owner to get his dog off of mine. The dog bit me in the leg and I proceeded to kick and beat the husky bloody as it kept trying to attack me. The dog finally hobbled off. Pretty sure I heard some ribs crunch. The dog left a nice little blood trail back to the owners front porch as well.
Nothing ever came of the situation besides curse words exchanged. I had a couple punctures in my leg, got a rabies shot and all was well.
This is why I carry a snub-nose 38 when I walk my dogs. I kinda live in the country and I've see quite a few stray dogs and few big dogs come up and I dont feel like fighting a dog(s) off mine and get hurt in the process. I love dogs and dont want to hurt any but I will protect mine if I need to.
Good call. Yeah, getting attacked by a dog isn't too fun.

Blue heelers are the smartest, toughest, fearless, most loyal dogs there are.
kinda tricky legalities with this. Depending on your state.
I know in mine if two dogs fight and one gets hurt bad, neither party can sue.
if a dog hurts a person, the owner is responsible.
if you hurt a dog , you're responsible.
people always get scared by my dog,(stafforshire terrier) thinking shes gonna bite them or there dog, but she is the most gentle dog ive ever had. to both people and dogs.
You are right and TBH I'm not sure of the legalities in my state on this. But I can tell you this, pulling the trigger is the LAST resort in any situation and if I feel/think that is my last option for safety than I'm not too concerned with the legalities. Not dis-regarding the law but its our nature to protect ourselves and family. I pray I'll never be in that situation, I'd much rather shoot targets.....or hogs!![]()

Well I lost my iPhone in a river rafting incident...so I picked up an HTC EVO 3D for next to free. I'm not happy about the switch to Android OS but with the help of some members on here I might make the transition ok.
I am interested in rooting and custom ROMs, obviously also interested in transfering my iTunes library to the phone.
