I have no idea about rooting. iTunes movies...no getting around that...cannot transfer. iTunes music...I recommend using Easy Phone Sync, which is FREE for Samsung owners, but costs money for others. It is what Samsung recommends. I have used iSync with some success, also Double Twist. My favorite is Easy Phone Sync. Double Twist is now too commercialized and too heavy. Easy Phone Sync is simple and does exactly what it does without anything you don't want.
I hope that your contacts are on a Gmail account. If you want to transfer your Apple contacts to your new Android, then you want to go to iCloud and make a V-card (I think). And then import it over to your Gmail. This was my hardest thing when I made the transition. Everyone needs a Gmail account anyways...so, my Gmail will be my main contacts storage from now on, even if I go back to iPhone. And with Apple, you can easily import Gmail contacts to iTunes...going the other way is a PIA!

I will look into all this stuff, not all of my contacts are backed up in the iCloud/iTunes only the ones I keep on my iPad but those are the important ones anyways. I dont plan on this being a permanent switch over so I want to avoid paying for apps as much as possible, I will probably switch back over to iOS once cash becomes a little more fluid. I have way to much money tied up in peripherals and the like to leave Apple (plus I am fond of their OS)
Hulley, you may want to carry those expandable night sticks that cops use. I have one and I carry it whenever I go walking outside. Much more portable than a baseball bat. You can beat the crap out of dogs without issue...but shooting one with your gun is generally frowned upon...at least in the city.I also carry a small pocket knife, but the baton is the best weapon against dogs...I think.
Are you talking about an Asp Baton? I remember hearing that those are illegal to carry in Georgia, even if you have a carry permit. I would like to check on that because I would rather use something like that on a dog than a gun.

Try this in the real world, however, and if you're moderately lucky the arrest review people will figure out what you did isn't illegal and will let you go shortly after they booked you into jail. You will get your original clothes back but you probably won't get an apology, and you will likely have to hire an expensive attorney to get that arrest record expunged from your criminal history and get your confiscated weapons back. If you're unlucky, it could be far worse....

Welp, Happy 4th of July. I just woke up to my Boxer having a stroke. He's just coming out of it. Time will tell if he can still function. Can't put him down today anyway since it's a holiday unless I want to use the ol' traditional method, which I'm not going to do.

Sorry to hear that. Seizures by themselves aren't enough reason to put down a dog - you wouldn't do that to your kid. Is this the first episode or is there a history?

Nah it was a bad stroke. He's 14. This is his 3rd lol (over 4 years). Not including the Vestibular Disorder he had for 3 weeks straight last November. He just had another mini-stroke about 30 min ago but now he's pulled out of it again and he's coherent. We'll see what happens.

My old boxer used to have seizures, I've dealt with that a bunch. He was a medical nightmare. Seizures like 2-3 times a week for months. After trying a buncha different meds nothing worked. We ended up having to put that one down when he was 8 years old. And I've watched my current dog have two strokes before so I know what they look like lol It happens, he's just old. I honestly don't know how this dog is still alive. :happens:
He just decided to get up and walk outside to pee so who knows. His brain is still trying to get back in touch with his body right now though.

Well, now he's just hanging out in the grass lol this dog is resilient! As long as he's still happy, not in pain, and able to walk and get up on his own, he is staying alive.

I didn't end up purchasing the HTC phone because the seller was a flake and canceled on me 3 times and refused to include a charger or SD card. They told me to buy my own at a drug store!

Why do you need a charger? SD card is now dirt cheap, unless you want high storage space. Anyway, what are you going to do?

I need a charger so I can charge the phone I suppose and I am going to continue to go sans phone and use my iPad for text and email until I find another deal. They wanted to charge me $50 and it had some light scratches.
I have no patience for people that try and jerk me around, for the price it would have cost me to buy the phone and my gas driving all around town since they canceled 5 minutes before we were supposed to meet and I was already on the road; I could buy a new or like new HTC EVO in the box with car charger, wall charger and case on amazon for $70. Only downside is I still have to wait on shipping. It's a crap shoot but I have a road trip coming up soon so I need a phone.
