Sorry to hear about your dog. I've never seen a dog have a stroke before, what are the symptoms?

Thanks man. No symptoms beforehand. I woke up hearing him whining like he was at my bedroom door wanting to go outside, but as I get up to check, I see him all contorted, with his head stuck in a bent position to the side like the girl in the exorcist (not upside down lol) but unable to move. His eyes were wide open in distress, so dialated they looked like clouds. He was trying to look around I don't think he could see at all. All muscles head to chest were constricted. He had pissed himself, his ENTIRE bladder. You could see the pain he was going through. Kinda hard to explain, but there's nothing you can really do. I just gave him lots of water and tried to calm him down. Then he kind of came out of it, then had another stroke, not as bad. The first one lasted quite a while, the second not so long. Finally he came out of it and you can see it in his eyes where he's coming back to reality. After about 20 min, he sat up. Then I helped him up and he had some trouble walking since his brain was trying to reconnect with his body lol. I let him sit in the grass for a while. He's still walking real funky, but hopefully he will be a lot better in the next couple days. He's all perky and wants to get up and walk around, but it's hard for him right now. He should be alright I hope.

holy crap! My Boxer went through that in November, scared the ever living piss out of me! Still today her head is tilted and it gets worse when she is stressed or you pick her up. After rushing her to the vet we discovered she had cancer. Surgery at UGA and $4k later she is healthy and back to normal (except for head tilt). She was 3yr when it happend.

Glad she's all fixed up! They're worth it though

LOL the head-tilt always makes me laugh

do any of you dog owners take your dog to the lake, everytime we go to the lake and she loves to play in the lakewater, she develops a rash couple days after.

Was just down at the lake. Some idiot crashed his boat into the pier. Boat is literally on top of the pier, entirely outta the water. Big too, probably like 37 feet, or so.

all i had was my iphone. The police had the pier blocked off and it was dark. I'll work on it though. I'm sure other peoples pics will start showing up soon.

Nice, that sounds like an interesting site.

Oh btw, I priced out shipping on that selkbag again... way too much ($130) lol I ended up selling it to a girl up in Redding just north of me. Sorry man, I don't know how you guys buy stuff from the states without paying twice as much as the item itself. Shipping is insane for you guys!

Oops

My panasonic plasma died two nights ago. It's only 5 months old. Still under warranty but such an inconvenience. It'll probably be at least a week before they fix it too.

To add to that. it appears as though my internet modem is broken too. I can't seem to get anything but a 169.x.x.x address with an ethernet connection, but the wifi still seems to work. Anyone have any ideas?
