GoT, they finally leaked who Jon Snow's mother is. The father is also suggested. He's a Stark and Targaryen. I think it makes him a cousin to Dany.

Yeah and I doubt they'd go to that length to bring him back. He didn't really provide anything to the overall story. An expendable filler role just there to get Cersei onto the thrown.
I could be wrong as trying to keep straight all the families and people is insane, but I think that would make them aunt/nephew. Which makes sense after bringing him back from the dead. He needs to play a major role in the grand picture.

It doesn't really make much of a difference. I mean, you now know that it's going to come down to those two. Question is will they kill each other, be allies or a mix of the two? It seems that the whole storyline is setting up to be a very female-centric ending. Starts out with nothing but men and how men continue to f things up, especially when it comes to giving them power. Perhaps a bit of social commentary?

Could he possibly remain king of the north when his cousin/niece or whatever, shows up to take kings landing and they join forces?

Kind of seems like that's where it's headed, but then again they'll want to keep some true GoT moments and whack off people just when you get to liking them. Lady Mormont seems doomed for sure.

My wife said Jon would be Dany's nephew. Honestly, one narrative could be she dies at some point after taking the throne. Jon, as the last living Targaryen and reluctant ruler, would be king.
I was wondering how much longer the series would go after this season's finale, HBO announced two more today to wrap it up.
There was some rumor about an ice dragon buried under the Wall. Supposedly larger than fire dragons, maybe that becomes Jon's? I dunno. I still enjoy watching the series.

Yeah, as well as I think they're going to be shorter seasons. Makes sense. Getting more and more expensive. The top actors are now getting $550,000 per episode.
Those dire wolves don't seem to be much of a role in the series. What about if the dragons and wolves team up?! Wolf riding around on a dragon. Bet no one would see that coming.

Lol! That's like bears riding horseback. I like it. The only two wolves left are Jon's and Arya's. It would be cool to see Arya reunite with hers to become a 1 person 1 wolf assassin team.

Looks like Chris Evans is leaving Top Gear. Can't say I'm upset about it. He never felt right for the show as you always got the feeling that he never really 'got it'.

I agree (as it seems many others did too). He wasn't right at all. LeBlanc actually wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be, but no good either. They'll never be able to replace the three. It was so much of a combo of right place, right time. Even with Clarkson, May and Hammond, the show had been on so long and done so many things, that it was getting to the point of redoing a lot of the same schticks. Nothing will match the golden years of TG.
