America is not as great an outlier compared to other nations having “high” development or better according to the UN’s Human Development Indicator (HDI), which rates countries by levels of economic development and quality-of-life.

Below is a chart of mass shooting statistics, when corrected for population. It shows that the U.S. has comparable frequency to other nations when accounting for its large population size (0.72 fatalities per 1,000,000 population).

Some of those stats certainly look cherry picked. Why such specific time periods. 2009-2013? 2010-2012?

Can't help but feel those years best suited their argument (Norway being so high in rampage shootings being a good example).

I am sure some are cherry picked. Same as stats for gun control are cherry picked. And sometime it's also the most recent stats available. Agencies have been known to wait several years to release certain stats

Here's some more info for you. A lot of it is taken directly from the CDC report Obama asked to be conducted in 2010; but when the report found this info, which was exactly the opposite of what he was HOPING FOR- he didn't publicize it or try to get the info out.

This first site has many tabs you can click on to review different criteria/data related to guns and crime. I posted the link directly to guns/crime in other countries as that is what you specifically discussed in your post above. Feel free to look through the other data points/categories on the site. Lot's there.

A recent study published in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy concluded that there is a negative correlation between gun ownership and violent crime in countries internationally (more guns = less crime).

Nations with strict gun control laws have substantially higher murder rates than those who do not in general. In fact, the 9 European nations with the lowest gun ownership rate have a combined murder rate 3x's that of the 9 European nations with the highest gun ownership rate! (8)

Today, the violent crime rate in Kennesaw is still 85% lowerthan Georgia's or the national average. (19)

* Based upon Kleck & Gertz estimates of 2.5 million defensive gun uses per year (see source #2). A similar study in 1994 under President Clinton (Source) found this number to be 1.5 million, which would result in guns being used over 47x more often to defend a life than to take one.
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, about 436,000 crimes were committed with a firearm in 2008 (Source). This would mean guns are used 5.7 or 3.4 times (using Kleck or Clinton respectively) more often to defend against a crime than to commit one.

** Comparing violent crime between two countries can sometimes be difficult as each nation defines it differently.

Julian Assange: Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks. As a 27 year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington.

Reporter: That was just a robbery, I believe. Wasn’t it?

Julian Assange: No. There’s no finding. So… I’m suggesting that our sources take risks.

Judicial Watch today released 10 pages of new State Department records that include an email sent by State Department spokesman Brock Johnson alerting Cheryl Mills, Hillary Clinton’s then Chief of Staff, that a “significant” Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request had been made for records showing the number of email accounts used by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Important to take care of [name redacted],” Douglas Band, President Bill Clinton’s former right-hand man, wrote to Clinton aides Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, and Nora Toiv in an April 22, 2009, email.

“We have all had him on our radar,” Abedin responded. “Personnel has been sending him options.”

The subject line on the email read “A favor…”

“No wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement Tuesday.

Fitton asserted that Clinton and her aides violated ethics rules and may have broken the law.

“They show the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, and operatives worked with Hillary Clinton in potential violation of the law.”

TEL AVIV – An email sent through Hillary Clinton’s private sever betrayed the name of the National Security Agency’s representative to the State Department.

The email was contained in a batch of 296 pages of Clinton’s correspondence released on Tuesday in response to a Judicial Watch lawsuit. The emails, reviewed in full by Breitbart Jerusalem, include 44 messages that were not previously released.

One email was sent to Clinton at her private email address from aide Cheryl Mills, stating the name of the NSA rep.

While, in 2016, the documents may not be considered bombshell information, many alternative researchers and writers were condemned as tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists in 2012 for suggesting that the State Department and the Obama administration were complicit in and facilitating the arming of terrorists in Syria.

In addition, the documents are a direct contradiction to the testimony of a number of American officials, including Hillary Clinton herself, who claimed in sworn public testimony that the U.S. had no role in the arming and support of the Syrian “rebels” early on in the Syrian crisis.

For instance, Clinton herself claimed she had no knowledge of any such program when she was questioned by Senator Rand Paul at a Congressional hearing in 2013. The exchange went as follows:

RAND PAUL: It has been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and they might have weapons. What I would like to know, is the annex that was close by [in Benghazi]. Were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons, and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries — to any countries, Turkey included.
HILLARY CLINTON: Senator, you’ll have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex. I will see what information is available.
RAND PAUL: You’re saying you don’t know.
HILLARY CLINTON: I do not now. I don’t have any information on that.

Although the document did not specify that the United States was the responsible party regarding organizing the weapons shipments or that it had a direct role in facilitating them (the responsible party is redacted), it does make clear that the United States was aware of and monitoring these shipments. At the very least, this proves that Clinton’s testimony is false. At worst, it adds to the pile of evidence that the United States was not only a supporter but the architect of the Syrian crisis from day one.

Everything is starting to add up to her not being completely in her skull....

1. Wikileaks emails from aides talking about her being confused.
2. Wikileaks emails from aides talking about her having "nap time".
3. The "micro-seizures."
4. Being carryied up stairs.
5. Being supported.
6. The falls that are documented.
7. Some guy following her with what looks like an auto-injector everywhere

Mrs. Nova MD said 1-6 are prime symptoms of the type of dementia referenced in the link above and that auto-injector administration of valium and certain other benzos is considered a viable first line treatment for acute severe seizures.

Wife said that at a minimum she'd call that "moderate cognitive impairment" and more likely advanced depending on how the neurological exams came out.

Where is the CDC gun research??

So many of those articles mention it but I cannot find the actual research anywhere....

I was under the impression that the Dickey amendment essentially handcuffed the CDC from doing meaningful gun research since 1996, after their studies at that time came up with results that the NRA didn't like.

It's Obama.............come on homie get with the proggy!

Obama did commission the cdc to do research. He also has them in charge of gun violence. Because apparently gun violence is a disease now. That study is hard to find but it is out there. It was intended to prove something and ended up disproving it. They are doing their best to keep it buried. I think it actually took a FOIA act originally to get the study available.
