They are incorrect as most dealers seem to be nowadays. Works on 19s

I told him it was possible and showed him I the manual where it says it's an option. He said well our manual doesn't say it is so we can't do it.

Very frustrating to pay over $300 for a key and they can't even program it correctly.

Oh I thought about it but we just got back from an out of town trip and leaving on another this weekend. I wanted to have a spare with us on the trip in case on gets lost. So, no time to order and wait for the stuff to come in before we leave.

this worked on my 2012 limited with the smart key, thank you for the help! seems weird that the standard key wouldn't have the same feature seeing as it is the wireless interface that is changing the settings, not the proximity of the key.
