anywya to protect my wheels from mag chloride?

Hi all,

Winter is coming, and living in the mountains that means I'll be driving in a lot of Mag Chloride for quite a while. In the past, the mag chloride has just destroyed the wheels of previous cars... it ate through the finish of my Jeep's wheels and left a lot of pock marks. I'd rather this not happen to my 4Runner. Is there something I can put on the wheels that might act as some kind of protective barrier or something?

You could try fluid film. Wash the wheels regularly, then spray after washing with fluid film or similar product. I don't think you will get away from having to wash them regularly to prevent damage. At least a spray bottle like FF will be easy to apply repeatedly
