I’m last-minute thinking that it’s be nice to get out to the desert tomorrow, Sunday 12/16. Anyone interested?

Last time [MENTION=272937]jimmynotjim[/MENTION] and I did Fish Creek Wash from the Split Mountain side... am thinking about doing it from the Vallecitos Wash & S2 side this time. Out either Arroyo Tapiado and/or Arroyo Seco del Diablo Trail, down Diablo Drop Off, and out Fish Creek Wash.

I’m open to other trails that a stock 4Runner TRDORP can handle, if someone has a stronger preference for location.

Good looking out, thanks for looping me in.

I have my company holiday party tonight and it will all depend on how much I drink if I can wake up early enough to make it.

Give me a time and place to meet up and I'll reply when I get home tonight with a solid response.

I was just double-checking the map, and coming from the south (I-8), it looks like Canyon Sin Nombre comes up before Vallectos Wash and might be a more direct route. Anyone know if one of them is more interesting or prettier?

Yeah that was the route we took last time. Wife said she is in. So gotta nail a time down to meet and a place. Last time we ran we met in Alpine at a Chevron.

What time works for you? I don’t have a two year old to factor into the equation! Not sure yet if any kids are coming. Pretty sure that my wife isn’t...

Let’s just meet at the trailhead for Canyon Sin Nombre...

If you have time, explore the slot canyons along Canyon Sin Nombre Road.

I’m in trouble if not.... (though I’ve got the locker). Recent reports seem to indicate that it should be OK, but I’ll take a very good look before committing.

Last I went... before this last rain. I was fine... at the time stock open diffs with good tires.

Going down diablo drop is easy. You’ll get a tire off the ground and cram you wheel into the well. But just keep going down. Going up is another story.

OK, cool. I just got home and with a few hours sleep should make it.
If I'm not there by 9:10am then that means I hit snooze and won't be making it.

Kids and wife are on the fence about coming, so it might just be me solo, but that's going to be a game time decision.

Sorry for the flakeyness, last minute trips can be tough to work out with the family schedules.
