I'm wondering as well if it's a go. I spoke with him at calico and something might have come up but he didn't expand on it. I was hoping he would clear it up here but guess not. If he's unable to go we have [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] to guide us. We didn't get a chance to hike the mud caves last time.

I’m down to still go even if we just wing it for the weekend. If [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] knows the area and wants to be our trail leader, then that works out well for us.
Since there is already a vague itinerary already started, I guess we can just go off that if everyone wants and figure it out from there.
Whatcha think Miah and everyone else?

Like [MENTION=133319]MACT4R[/MENTION] said I know that area very well I lead groups multiple times from ocotillo wells to coyote canyon to fish Creek and all thru that entire area I have no problem leading everyone we can go his itinerary which I already know or whatever you guys want just tell me what you wanna see and do and I will have the route planned.

Fish creek is a popular spot but depending on how big the turnout with T4R & TW is, we may need to pick a spot on BLM east of Fish Creek or head over to nearby Ocotillo Wells. There is plenty of space there! Pole Line Road or near Blow Sand would work for a large group and there's poopers nearby for the fam lol.

They'll have a good time. I have 10 & 14 and they love offroading/camping.

I’m good for anything too. The original plan sounds good to me. We just gotta button it up and see who is all actually going and where we are camping.

On our last Anza trip we did the Old Overland Stage Route from Plaster City to the Old Carrizo Stage Station to S2. That was the first time we did it and it was a super fun trail!

Sorry, everyone! Totally forgot to update this thread. I got asked to volunteer with a few other overland rigs to feed some families/kids at a shelter in Orange County. About a dozen of us are setting up our rigs like we're camping (tents, cooking gear, etc.) and cooking for all the people at the shelter.
Unfortunately, the event is the same weekend as when I originally planned to do this Anza run. However, the weekend after, the 20th to the 22nd, I'm planning on finally getting out to Anza to lead anyone. @oc_overland and I might do a joint trip that weekend, too.
