It looks like I may have a chance to check out any changes to those canyons this weekend. My neighbor organized a run for some of his J**p/Land Rover buddies and convinced me to tag along. It will be interesting to see the area so soon again after the past few storms. I'm also really thrilled about cleaning the mud off my 4Runner again!

be sure to bring A LOT of extra tools hahah...have fun I suspect a lot of areas will be closed or inaccessible

Haha sorry about the wait, got called up to San Fran for a job so I just finished the video portion up. I didn't film a ton, but I did make a quick highlight reel of the trip.

Thanks for all your efforts! You make it look easy, typically trying to capture a lot of what goes down at these run is hard to do

Hahah, I just really want to see more angles. I've never had anyone really capture my rig and I'd love to see how I'm articulating and where I'm rubbing. Plus I'm all calm, cool, and collected on that second obstacle, hahaha.

Socal group puts a run just about everymonth. Matter of fact there's a Joshua Tree run for the weekend of March 17-19. President's day weekend is also coming up next month and someone will put a run together. I know I want to go back to Anza and explore more areas as well as superstition mtn. There's a big bear run one of the member is putting on next week Jan 28. Keep checking back.

I'm down for a Superstition run at some point. I've only been there once a long time ago on a dirt bike, but that area is unlike the rest of the Anza and surrounding desert. The terrain is basically like a mix of the dunes and Ocotillo Wells. Guaranteed we'd be doing a lot of recoveries though! Lots of soft stuff.
