Absolutely this obstacle is in a slot canyon in fish creek...actually the best slot canyon in the area imo. You don't have to enter the canyon of you don't want to

One of us will scout it out before the rest of the group continues anyways to make sure there is room to turn around because it's honestly one of the "must see" attractions

I use google MyMaps to create these maps and then save to offline. This allows me then to be able to open it in google maps as well. You can also embed it if you want as well.

I have them linked, but haven't had a chance to troubleshoot why it wouldn't open. I ended up downloading the KML file from the map you had created and then loaded it in Locus Maps. I already use that app for viewing other maps I own. The app loaded the data as a layer over a previously loaded map. I now have a massive amount of data for the Anza Borrego area. Data overload! Thanks again for creating the map for this trip.

We've done many monthly meet and runs with this amount of rigs and it goes smooth. ..just slow going at certain sections. But we have yet had a camping group this large which will make this all that much more fun.
Solid group of guys that are going, good people and are no rookies to wheeling with in large groups.

Don't be hesitant because of that...

This will be a good look at what kind of camping we can expect in Joshua Tree in March with closer to 50 rigs if everyone shows. haha.

Speaking of camping in a large group...Do we need any community gear; tables, coolers, etc? Or just bring what we need to be self sufficient? Lol.
 
Wondering the same thing. Miah mentioned he has a bonfire pit and I have one I could bring. I would think we'd want at least 2 with the size group we have, especially if we have to separate into 2 camping areas due to campsite space availability.
 
Ya at least 2 pits would be a good idea, maybe a table if you have room or feel like bringing one. Other than that just be self sufficient and if you have extra of anything to share cool...if not that's cool too

Also firewood....anyone bringing a pit post it up here so we can designate some of us to bring some firewood

I'll have firewood Friday night, but I'll probably mooch fire off the rest of you guys Saturday night. Can't really carry too much. I need a roof rack. haha.
 
True but it's out of the way from our route Saturday, if we were camping in coyote canyon that would be perfect

I'm sure I can talk Greg into packing some into his trail limo. He should have plenty of space since he's rolling solo.

Oh a real bed?! How I miss having a truck with a bed.....looks like your buddy Greg has volunteered himself to pull firewood duty haha...now we can have a serious fire
