I'm down you know that already.
And I got you on the north end I can run that ..I've done both of those areas a couple times. The best place to camp in coyote canyon area is goat canyon camp site area *****in little cove area up against the mountain side there is just a hand ful of sites with open roof shitters, picnic tables,fire pits etc. they are pay sites you just drop your cash in a box type of thing. But it's a legit spot with killer view and nobody around.
Oh and think you missed a typo ...i think you stated the wrong dropoff since it's none existent anymore. I'm pretty sure you meant pinyon canyon trail and the pinyon drop off, the slot and rock garden.

Diablo Drop off? It's a bit past the mud caves, I didn't try it but I checked it out on foot, since I was alone. A big open area to camp for large group near truck haven is also Arroyo Salado.

I was just messin with him,I know where it is I recently took a fellow member out there to shoot some photos and we went up and down it. it's not what it use to be. An actual butt clincher all the way down. Now it's just a easy slope ...they need to change the name honestly cause it no longer earns its name any longer by no means at all.

IMO it's best to have the mod done anyways, it's a quick easy job. But to answer your question I believe there is a small crossing up coyote canyon

There's two small water crossings in coyote canyon but one of them can get much larger at times ....

The dates are confirmed they will not change. I might need to change the camping spot and I want to throw up a map for anyone not familiar with the area

I've been avoiding this thread. hahah. You can put me as a maybe, but I would have to split at the ass crack of dawn Sunday morning if I camped. Ex gets visitation from 11-5 on Sundays and Anza is a 3 hour drive.

That's definitely stretching it, I won't bug you too much if you don't make it. Hell I haven't even driven my truck since the last white mountain run:moping:

Actually. Looks like that's MLK weekend, which means I have that Monday off. If she's not being too big of a ***** maybe I can get her to switch days to Monday so we can hang out Sat and Sun.

if anyone wants to camp both saturday and sunday, that's what i'd actually prefer to do. let me know if anyone is interested?

it's what i did after the columbus day wheeling/camping trip in big bear. made it a 2-nighter.
