Here we go. Thank you [MENTION=60694]TheSentinel[/MENTION] for setting up what was yet again an epic run. You have, without a doubt, the best organizational skills for these runs and I have yet to be disappointed by one you have setup. Can't wait to see what the next one is. Thank you [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] for leading the second easy group. I was willing to step in if needed and I know you wanted to run some of those harder routes. Good seeing you brother, we'll set something up soon. I don't mind running in the desert in the summer, I have AC :eyebrows:. Thanks [MENTION=102715]CrazyNorwegian[/MENTION] for leading us crazy ****ers through those hard routes. Great job with spotting. My damage was my own rookie fault for not really paying attention to you. Thank god for skids, they just paid for themselves. I need to get under the truck and see what I actually did tomorrow.

What an awesome group of people!!! People pushed their comfort zone and really saw what these vehicles are capable of. Everyone had a great time, and there will be stories to be told. It was an absolute honor to lead the difficult group, and take over leading the whole group through pilot rock. Thank you [MENTION=60694]TheSentinel[/MENTION] for setting this up and taking one for the team to rescue one of our own. Thank you [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] for being awesome as always. And, thank you [MENTION=114132]Marcocopuffs[/MENTION] for spotting me a when I needed it. I don't see any issue with you leading your own group next time. We are not just a group of people with common interests, what makes this group so special is we treat each other like family.

The daisy-chained 4Runner recovery is quite a story. One of our 2WD brothers found himself stuck in a difficult area and ended up with a broken axle. He had to be pulled out on a challenging 30 degree (at least) incline. One truck aired down in 4Lo locked wasn't budging him, so we added another truck and a recovery strap to the other guy. At one point, it was myself, [MENTION=128841]Spenny[/MENTION], and the inferno TRDPro all linked together to pull out the 2WD. We started moving, but then the weakest strap gave way. I disconnected and Spenny and the inferno pulled the 2WD to safety and down the mountain to 138. Tough, but definitely an accomplishment.

Damn! Glad it was only an axle and everyone made it out safe.

Couldn't have said anything better. One hell of a day...everything lined up to be one of those epic days that will be talked about for a long time.. Nothing but smiles from ear to ear all day long everywhere I looked and what was really cool is the comment I heard throughout the day from majority of the group is ... "I didn't know these vehicles could do this, I had know idea, it's amazing"!!!

I'm looking at them feeling their excitement and seeing their confidence building but,that's when I'm thinking... Yeah your screwed...cause your soon to be broke, sucka!!
Then their next comment was .."so when and where we going this next month"
...it was a full outbreak of T4R Fever out there today... Family.

I'm working on the beers. Kid goes to bed in 20 mins so I'll have a chance to sit down and start editing. I'm not even going to lie, after watching the couple guys in front of me 3 wheel it on sections and get REALLY tippy on some downhills, I was nervous as hell. I took the skid plate hits to avoid getting tippy.

I have a ton of you 3 wheeling it, haha. I think my GoPro battery shit the bed though on that one downhill section after the bowl. That or I totally skipped it. Gonna check tomorrow with a clear head.

Thanks Andrew! To be honest, it was you who really got me into wheeing after my first time wheeling cleghorn 1.5 year ago! You showed me the ropes, and I can't thank you enough for showing me basics, and more difficult stuff. I'd be totally down to lead a group of intermediates next time!
