ARB bull bar fog lights

I purchased the optional fog light kit P/N:ARB 9249FCK for my ARB bull bar. My question is, can I just wire them directly to where the factory fogs were and just use my factory switch to run them? The kit came with a whole loom with relays and switches already assembled. I would like to keep the factory switches if it is possible. Thanks for the info

Has anybody tried wiring them up to the factory fog light connectors?

I don't see why not. I hooked up a set of PIAAs to my factory fog light switch without a relay and it works just fine.

Here is one of my posts from a different thread:

1. Use a voltmeter to find out what wire on the stock fog light harness is power
2. Clip off the stock fog light connector (keep track which wire is positive)
3. Clip off the connectors from the ARB fog lights
4. Splice corresponding wires together

I have slight OCD so this is what I did:

1. Use a voltmeter to find out what wire on the stock fog light harness is power
2. Clip off the connectors from the ARB fog lights
3. Spliced the piaa lamp wires to the female end of this: Halo Automotive WH9006 Plug and Play Upgrade Wire Harness and made sure the correct wires match the stock connector

It's really straight forward as long as you have a voltmeter.
