ARB compressor/locker installation help

Hi,

I just installed an ARB rear locker on my 03 4R. The bench test worked fine. The wiring has been checked three times, everything seems to be fine. The compressor works fine and engages everytime you activate its switch but when you hit the rear locker switch nothing happens. I do not have a front locker. I have searched for air leaks between the compressor and axle and have found none. I have also found no wiring issues. Right now the "ignition" ARB wire is hooked to a 12V swiched wire coming off of the 12V outlet in the console, left of the gear shifter. The "dash illumination" is coming off of a 12V wire that controls the lighting of the 12V outlet located left of the shifter. I welcome any help anyone can offer.

Thanks,
Chris

i wasnt aware that you would hear anything happen when you engage the locker, the compressor should be the only noisy part, are you sure it isnt engaged?

is the locker sealed in the diff case? if not, take the breather plug out, have someone engage the locker and see if any air comes out of it, that'll tell you if the air is making it back there

no air is getting to the rear differential. Checked that last night. Seems like a wiring problem perhaps? Nothing at all seems to happen when I engage the rear locker switch.

Solved!

Loose connection on the plastic plug in clip that ARB provides. I have to say I am not pleased with the connections that ARB provides here - seems like direct splice using automotive connectors would be much more secure.
