ARB DRL wiring issue

I just installed an ARB onto my 2013 Trail. I decided to wire the ARB lights like the DRL/turn signal that came from factory. I wired the ARB housings straight to the factory wiring for the DRL/turn via new weatherpack connectors.

The DRL worked initially but has stopped since yesterday. The turn signals and hazards on the ARB work fine. They even flash when I lock or unlock the truck. I've cycled the DRL switch to off several times with no return of their functionality.

I'm still investigating, but wanted to reach out here for ideas. I'm going to put the stock amber bulbs into the ARB housings to see if that changes things. Only one bulb on each side in the ARB housing is wired up.

That was my first thought. I checked the fuses underhood and in cabin. I couldn't find a DRL specific fuse, but all of the fuses related to those lights (turn and hazard fuses) were fine.

What about your high beams? Do they work normally? Here is a fuse diagram if it helps. I know the DRL is just a lower voltage from the high beam circuit. Maybe test the voltage with a multi-meter?

High beams work yeah.

I just swapped the OEM DRL/turn bulb into the ARB housing and the DRLs are back. Strange. I know that the OEM bulb is a 27w 1156 amber and the one that came with the ARB housing is a 21w clear. Turns and flashers work still as they're supposed to. I'll just have to wait and see if they stay working.

If they go out again, I'll definitely break out the multi-meter. Thanks so far for the responses!

Here you go (truck is dirty).

I still need to install the Dobinsons springs and shocks I chose to pair with the bumper. It sags up front :nono:

I love the ARB so far. I still need to wire the fogs. And the IPF's need some 12 gauge since I put 100w bulbs in them. Eventually I'll throw a winch in there and call it done!
