ARB Summit Bumper

Installed this myself using motorcycle flat jack to hold. Took about a week to look at all the parts, one day to install. Instruction is ok. I wonder how much shop would charge. Love it. Muscle lights about to go in.

Are you using stock king front springs? i've heard the bumper is pretty heavy, and causes lots of sag

This was asked early on but I can't find an answer. Will this fit a 2010-2013 SR5?

The ARB site lists this one and the original "Deluxe" bumper in the same place, both for 2010+. But all dealer sites have them separate. Most say the new "Summit" bumper won't fit my rig.

Anyone with personal experience?

I would contact ARBUSA directly.

For those that already have this installed, I have a few questions for you:

  • What size tires are you running with this bumper? What is the max size you could run/is there enough clearance to the front to go taller than a 33", given you have the setup to do so (BMC, 3" lift, etc).
  • What is your spring rating to hold the excess weight?

Just about to place the order for one this week, curious to know your thoughts.

I'm running 285s and no BMC. I had the Old Man Emu "heavy" springs that were rated at 590lbs and they were a joke. I now have the toytec boss adjustable coilovers rated at 700lbs, they do awesome.

Did you contact ARBUSA? I would like to know too. IMO the Summit looks cleaner and more compact as compared to the Deluxe.

Thanks for the info. I'm at 285s with no BMC, but looking to go maybe 34" - 34.5" down the road. Have any pictures from the back pointed at the front fender area?

I'm running the 650lbs 13" on Icons and was thinking of going up to 700lb 14" springs - the shop I plan to use to install insisted to stick with the 650lbs and just up the coils to compensate for the loss in height with the added weight.

I did, and their official response is that the Summit is for 2014+ models only. So I purchased a Deluxe that is sitting in my garage (got an awesome deal at Southeast Overland in Seneca, SC!). Looking at the weather, it'll be sitting in my garage for quite a while :rain:

Anyone running the ARB summit bumper with a comeup Seal Gen2 9.5rs winch? Wanted to see if the winch will fit the bumper. Any help is welcomed thank you..

Just confirmed with sleeoffroad that the comeup 9.5rs winch will fit in ARB summit bumper just have to drill holes on winch mounting plates..

Does the bumper reuse the factory inner fender liners at all and if so does it use them in their entirety? I am considering doing the fender/bumper cut until I install the bumper and curious whether or not I will be ruining them for the eventual bumper install.

By the looks of it I think we have to cut part of the fender liner I’m not 100% sure as I have not installed mine yet (I will in a few weeks once all my parts arrive) hopefully some of the members here that have installed theirs can chime in
