Arb sway bar rub fix!!! Bp-51 fit kit

Have a bp51 kit I never installed. Arb released the 4runner front mount fit kit. Discovered this.. a replacement radiator support. Thank you arb!

Updated to include Pics of OEM Radiator Support Bracket WITH Toytec Radiator Drop Support Kit.
Installed ARB Bracket with Radiator Drop Support Kit REMOVED.

Wow, this is actually amazing. ATTN: Icon owners here is your fix for swaybar rub! A bit late for me as I already modified my OEM support brackets. Good to know that there is an aftermarket solve though.

also note this kit comes with a sway bar relocate kit as well. so price isn't really outrageous at all. This kit costs ~$40 more then the other bp-51 kit for the fj cruiser.

First post UPDATED, Confirmed this works.

Removed Toytec RDSK kit and installed the bracket.

Bracket comes with 2x M10 Cage Nuts, Note... Front Cage nut, should be M8 to match OEM hole size.

Front cagenut was used to install my Hefty Fab Skid plate.

New Bracket does touch my Hefty Front skid plates. But everything still mounts up properly.

also judging by the parts list, it looks like you replace both oem supports with just the 1 arb support bracket, yes?

I have RCI skids, but may have to buy n try this...

I have RCI skids, but may have to buy n try this...

you replace only the drivers side one, you keep your oem passenger side support.

I didn't measure. just realized the toytec spacers weren't needed, so i removed them. The toytec spacers never worked.. Most people have the same issue i believe. Could barely fit a sheet of paper between the sway bar.. and the radiator support bracket with the radiator spacers installed

Digging up an old post here, but does this rubbing cause any noises?

Mine is super close, and I’m getting a slight clunking noise from the front end. I don’t know if this is the reason or not.

just tried to install this on my 18 sr5. the instructions say to use 2 M10 cage nuts which will be used to attach the skid plate. ...however, the 4 bolts used to hold on my skid are M8's. i have ordered some M8 cage nuts, but am concerned they will be too small for the square cutout that was obviously cut for use with the 10M cage nuts.

edit to say i've already reached out to arb and received no reply.

Just to clarify that these structural supports are actually for the front suspension system and not the radiator itself. After my last trip into rocks I’ve had enough of the front suspension clunking coming from what I think is the swaybar knocking into my modified OEM supports. Just ordered the kit and am hoping it works with my RCI skids

Was looking at the bp-51 front fitment kit and it does not look like it has the new support beam in it just the shock overflow mounts. Called arb and they said no radiator support beam included but that could just be a tech that does not know. Maybe the kit has changed or I am looking a wrong one? Thoughts?

That's because it isn't a radiator support. It's a structural reinforcement for the front suspension. It is in that kit trust me.
