Let me know how that goes as they are my plan B too . . . they treated me right on my suspension install so I would be confident in a compressor install too . . .

Still nothing. I even tried one more time and they said they still don't have a price. I don't know what's taking them so long.
I would stop in again but I am on vacation this week up in Maine.
Can I post the shop details here or is that against forum policy? If you guys start calling it may help speed things up.

Talked to Tom and emailed Hill. I'll keep you guys posted as I hear back, but I indicated there were probably 5 people interested in brackets (didn't have the exact number handy).
Is everyone still interested who indicated so earlier??

Depending on the timing yes. The compressor is looking awfully lonely sitting on my shelf so if the wait is too much longer then I will follow ColoradoFrosty's lead and head down to the front range and have Slee install it for me.
I hear ya!... Tom mentioned that he saw Hill working on the bracket yesterday but also mentioned that "with what is currently going on".. it may not be until Tuesday before I get a response back.
I'm not familiar with the shop so I don't know what it means, but Tom sounded very put together and motivated about the prospect of selling multiple brackets so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
What is your drop dead date Ryan? End of next week to know a price and possibly get an order in?

Yep, that's fair. I'm going to be mostly out of touch over the next week anyway so I wouldn't be able to do anything about it regardless.
So even if you guys don't hear from me next week - I'm interested until I tell you otherwise! :thumb3:

Got a message yesterday from Hill that he has the estimate ready. I'll try to find a place with decent service (hard to find up here on the Maine coast!) and get the details for everyone ASAP.

Ryanc I will post pictures soon... was out of town for a 3-day camping trip, but I couldn't be happier with the install that Slee Offroad did on my compressor and manifold.
They fabed an aluminum bracket for the compressor and mounted it vertically and perpendicular to the firewall up against the right fender. Then they ran lines forward and mounted the manifold up basically behind the passenger headlight. Very easy access there in the left front corner of the engine compartment, and still plenty of room for an additional battery if I end up going there.
Those guys at Slee are just plain awesome to work with. Can't tell you how thankful I am to have these guys nearby. Oh, also got my Slee Shocks installed. Efing Incredible... but that's a topic for another thread. :trophy:

Here are the pics... it's nice in that the compressor is tucked up against the back left side of the engine compartment, yet the manifold is readily available up front.

You would know better than I...
The manifold is tucked out of the way there as much as possible. This crappy picture kind of shows it.
If I do a 2nd battery and there isn't actually enough room the manifold could easily be repositioned.

How many contact points and where on the main bracket? I see 2 on the fender wall; are there any other bolt points? Do you have any idea if Christo kept the template so he can make more? would you mind providing an indication of your cost?

Granted I used the biggest battery that would fit but maybe this pic will help see how tight it is. Like you said, it would be easy enough to move it.

Okki I am waiting to hear back from Slee on this...
Cost - My cost was only a little more than the initial estimate. They were very kind here despite the extra effort in getting the install and bracket dialed as they counted on taking this forward for other 5th Gens.
