ARB Twin Air Compressor Bracket for 5th Gen.

I spoke to Hill and Justin and my bracket got shipped today. The others should go out in the next couple days. They were wrapping up on the quality control. They had Jangoforhire ' s truck for a limited time so they focused on the jig first.

I'm ordering hoses etc this weekend and will be adding details to my build thread. I've got 2 face plates designed but will wait with ordering that until after I get the pressure gauge in.

I called the shop this morning to get an update on the brackets -- Justin told me that they had a fitment issue with the brackets, so have had to do some adjustments. He thinks they've sorted things out, and that they will begin shipping them out tomorrow!

yeah; one of their tolerances was a bit too tight and allowed the hood strut to make contact with the compressor air filter. Should be resolved now and they are performing QA again. It has been a challenge for them with not having a vehicle at the shop and having limited access to Jangoforhire's truck.

Having handled one of the troubled brackets, I can say I was very impressed with the build quality (welds etc) and bummed with the fit issue, but Hill has been great to work with to get it resolved so far.

Guys, is there any info on where to get this bracket or with time has there been any other brackets brought to the market....?

I kind of need one ASAP>>>>

You could give Luke a call. He did mine and may have made a cad drawing of it and pretty sure it can be whipped out fast.
 
You can give Hill a try at Agile Automotive (they apparently have a full time fabricator on staff now), but I would explore Ben's suggestion as well since it's likely going to be more successful.

I'm very happy with my bracket and it's solid as can be. Just not sure if Agile is able to be in this business since their focus is more race car than offroad.

Not to knock the custom fab'd bracket, it is sweet.

Two pieces of aluminum angle couple bits of hardware mounted to factory posts, cost = $12

I took mine to a local shop to get installed. It cost a lot (~$400) for them to design, test, and install my bracket. This was more than I was expecting to pay, but they did an awesome job so I didn't complain. The owner of the shop has a 4th gen. 4Runner and said that if I got interest in the bracket on the forum he would be willing to make some more of them.

I will get some better pictures of the bracket soon, but it is completely bolt on using stock holes (5 bolts I think), and you only have to relocate one wiring harness (which is basically just removing it from its stock mount).

Also they made a mounting location for the air locker manifold on the same bracket, but I am sure this could be an option and might make the bracket a bit cheaper (less material) if it is made without the extension for the manifold.

The bracket is painted black and re-enforced along all key points.

I called the shop today and he estimated a price of close to $200 for making more brackets. I have to talk more with them but for now lets estimate $250.00 including shipping. This might change more or less depending on when I talk to the shop again, but I am just looking for anyone interested.

It is still expensive, and I still encourage you guys to ask around at local shops, but this could be a viable option if we can get a good price.

Quick heads-up / PSA for anyone with a 2016 and a dual battery setup blocking the rear PS firewall area:

Slee offroad just received their updated bracket that fits *2016* gen5 trucks - fits behind the fuse/relay box.

Their website had said 2010+, but after calling and speaking with them, it sounds like they were 2010-2015 and needed a tweak for the 2016 model year (unclear on what the tweak was).

Just called and ordered mine today ($91 shipped). Will post install pics to my build thread once my post count is high enough.
 
not a bad price for a complete kit. Only thing missing is it doesnt say where the bracket mounts too.

Many of us, are running dual battery setups so not knowing where that mounting bracket goes and how it mounts, makes this kit a no go.

It goes right behind the fuse box, there are more images, particularly of the bracket and mount location, you need to scroll down ;): :)
