Are my rock sliders to short? How long are yours?

So I ordered the trail gear sliders at 58" for the 4runner. I finally took them out to take a look and in a short test fit and it looks like I could have fit a much longer slider in there. I measured it out and it looks like I could have really fit the 67" ones on there. Is there a reason not to? I don't know they just look like I could squeeze more slider in there. My end game is 3" suspension with my 2" body lift and 285s so... why are these recommended for the runner when there's way more room? What am I not taking into account???

Make sure you get your body lift on there before you weld on the sliders, unless you don't care about the 2" gap.

The lift is done already thanks though I want to keep them down far enough to still be a step as well. Not hard core moab kinda sliders lol.

The 67-68 are the ones that fit 3rd gens.

I went through trail gear cause they're in Canada. But they have a 67" version

yep, I ordered the 67" ones. Perfect fit. Next time, use your measuring tape before you use your wallet

No offense to anyone running trail gear stuff, but their products will NEVER touch my rig. Nice cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. Their products are made with cheap chinese steel and will fail on you.

I'm sure stubbs are great. But being on a budget and here in Canada ordering from on the same side of the border is a big plus. That and I am not that aggressive a Wheeler I doubt these will be more then tree stump sliders lol. Better the nerf bars but not the best. I can live with that.

you can always mount them forward and later on weld on a kick out section.

I went with trail gear....for the $140 I paid, it would be pointless to bend my own up. Cheap chinese steel is perfect for rock sliders.

And ya....get the long ones.
