I need to look at it up close and tape it off different ways to see exactly where i want to cut it. Since mine is the older model valence I don't think that I can pull off the nice diagonal line as well as your rig. I want to hence mocking it up with tape but if all else fails I thought of possibly just taking the sides of the valence off and then leaving the middle to cover the frame rails and condenser but I dont know what I'll do yet... I might even just be able to beat the hell out of the whole thing to clearance my tires better after what I will now refer to as the "mall crawler incident" with the alleged yellow pole

Well if you know someone with a bender then a custom one will be cheapest. But if not there are three tubes on the market. Just keep you hitch on and your good without a bumper for a while.

I recommend savage sliders. I have them and love them

I'll do the sliders first, then look into the bumper. I'm open to something bigger to but i'll cross that river when I get to it.

Damn dude, that's insane! I have 22000 lumens total haha. So I get bragging rights of having the most inefficient light/output ratio haha. I need to upgrade my front light bar, it's only 4000 lumens and I'm not impressed with it since my side bars put out 9000 each and are way brighter (obviously).

Your using double rows aren't you??? You should check out these guys:

They offer a lifetime warranty but also to the extent of if you happen to break them some how they will replace them. Plus they have good prices.

I want daylight at night pretty much not gonna have lights though for at least a year and a half. Well actually almost all upgrades have stopped so I can pay my way through welding school.

I know right? Just because some schmuck from Arizona didn't see the 6" wide steel pole painted bright yellow, now I get to clearance a bumper to stuff 31's at full lock....genius I tell you. Just like the fact they took the aux lights off the front but left the entire mess of relay, fuses, wiring and switches installed on the truck....

I just scored mine that are full DOM tubing for $159 on a nice sale. Those were for Trail Gears though and not the Addicted Offroad like Ben runs.

I am running Savage. I just like the way they look and plus there is no price difference for HREW and DOM. I got HREW because it dents instead of bends. Oh and no extra for a kick out which you will want if your going to be getting wheels with a smaller than stock BS

Don't be hasty, though... before you start talking about a lift, lets get your truck dirty. You may find that offroading isn't your cup of tea, or you may find that the setup you're planning isn't going to be nearly enough .

I always suggest that new guys wheel their stuff stock at least a couple times before diving into the mods.

This is good advice. Find out if Four Wheeling is something you really do enjoy, before you spend a bunch of money modifying your truck.

Even a stock truck (especially if it has the E-locker) is more capable than you might realize.

I'll check them out for sure since I want to upgrade my front LED bar. And the front is a double row 20" bar and the side ones are single row 30" so they are really low profile and you can't even see them hidden behind the roof rack from the front. That's why it's weird the front is only 4000 lumens and has essentially 40" of LEDs and the sides are 30" of LEDs and 9000 lumens. Live and learn though, the front is still bright enough that high beams aren't even noticeable.

Haha I do like the look of the kickout but I know some guys have gotten caught on them too. I figure where I'm planning on running SCS wheels the regular style will be totally fine with what I'm planning on running.

I'm all about getting a bunch of noobs together and breaking their junk. The weekend of the 28th is National Public Lands Day, and there's a bunch of service projects around that you guys should totally get involved with. It's a great chance to give back, support your wheeling privileges, and meet other wheelers. There will probably be lots of time for wheeling afterwards that Saturday, and we could always get together that Sunday too.

Other than that, my schedule is pretty iffy until November. I could maybe squeeze out a morning run on the 21st or 22nd.

And having to pay out for two past due accounts that I let slide a while back.

And saving to go to school for welding (have to pay out of pocket completely so that is 6k)

Just can't afford it this go around I will be goin again next spring though.

I have hear mixed reviews for lockouts but they have saved me a few times from getting hung up. You just addicted to Addicted yeah you will be perfectly fine with what your gonna be running.
