Electrical Love #2

Built radio harness for new deck.

Pioneer DEH-80PRS installed, suppose to be a good set up, see what happens when the infinity speakers get here

Now the fun part test fitting the panel, Led Carling switches, and Pioneer

then started wiring in the the bushman relays to the switch panel

Power tested everything and put it to a meter, then made a by pass for the power antenna, now the mast can be raise and lowered when needed

All buttoned up and matching the ARB locker switched, which were converted to the newer carling Leds too.

Lots of good stuff going on here! Any chance you could snap a pic of the dual battery setup and where you mounted the IBS system? I have been debating the dual battery setup for awhile but have yet to "need" it...but the insurance of having it for solo runs is kinda what keeps me thinking about it.

Ok only down side was some of the wires were a heavier gauge than needed and a little long. Now the Best Solution.... Dual battery try Kit from Columbia overland, fits 2 Odyssey PC1400. (by the way the Diehard was a rebranded Odyssey before they discounted the line)

How do you like the Columbia dual battery tray?

Those Kings are sweet. I am curious to know your opinion of the ride compared to the bilstiens







I put white LEDs in mine, I would try that before going back to stock bulbs.

Where do you get these and are they difficult to install? Thank you! New 4runner owner here

Questions.... how do you like the 4.56/285 combo in California? I need to regear and I'm stuck between 4.56 and 4.88 (have 4.10) now. I'm going to be going with 295/70/17 so just a touch bigger but we have so much freeway here in CA, so I'm really stuck here. Supercharger would be at least a year out.

Also, how do you like the 700lbs spring? I ordered mine with 650lbs spring, but now I'm starting to second guess myself with sliders, roof rack, plate bumper ordered and eventually a synthetic line winch. I'm thinking maybe I should have sucked it up and got the heavier spring to start and not have to upgrade later. Also hoping that maybe the 650 will still be ok with everything.

So Sonoran Steel Rear body mounts were installed

old mounts looked beat

New SS rear mounts VS old oem mounts

buttoned up and all new

Also found a old picture of Project "Sleepy" pre long travel but after Lexus V8 1uz

more likely to try a 2uz swap than a 5sp, figure if i am going to have to figure out wiring again, might as well make it worth the time and effort..... plus might have a line on a 2uz
