At last, a shipment notice from SW

Well it took almost 7 months but I received a shipping notice from Shrockworks for a 350lb item. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow so I better make room for it in the garage since I don't think I can fit this package on the dining table.

Hey Grant .. Since it looks like I'll be mounting a 2.5 gallon air tank behind the front bumper (attached to the aluminum bumper bar) can you let me know if that will still work with the SW bumper. The SW bumper is on the list and I'm just curious if I need to move the tank when I upgrade the front end.

Even without having the bumper yet I'm going to say it depends on if you plan on getting a winch. The bumper doesn't stick out that much beyond stock so the winch must use that area. Without the winch you are probably OK, with a winch probably not.

Once I install the bumper I'll take some measurements. Mine has the winch option so I'll be able to say how much room is left over.

He is correct. There is not much room behind the bumper. Add a winch and the air tank would be a no go. Could put the air tank where the stock spare is and get a rear bumper.

yeah... but that will be a while.. first comes the Icon stage 6, then the SW skids, SW front bumper, than the custom rear bumper. it's pretty impossible to find a decent tank location on our truck. harper7 has a 2 gallon under the hood; may need to look into that again.

Still interested in those measurement though Grant!

Spare tire area works if you have a tire gate on the custom bumper.

Well it's here, now to un-pack the beast, check for damage and find the spacers that need to go for painting.

Actually, they're fillers. The spacers/fillers go right below the headlights to fill the open space left from removing the bumper. They come unpainted so I need to take them to the body shop and have them painted to match the truck.
 
Okki,

After un-packing everything and looking at how things go together, I don't even have to measure, your air tank will not fit with a winch. If you don't have a winch, you'll probably need to change you mount from the one in the pic to raise it up higher.
