Yeah, I have about 12-5/8" on the uppers.

This is what 12-5/8” looks like on what I have. I originally set these up to be “neutral” at stock length. If I had to do it over, I’d have made the tubes a bit longer, as you would most likely be lengthening them to move pinion angle. But, I think that there is still plenty of thread as it is now.

FYI PRGproducts.com will have OEM replacement Delrin bushings available soon for the LCA's. he posted a pic on his instagram... "Greg Gagnon""prgproducts" if you're on there..hes pretty much only nissan stuff but looks like he's going towards toyota as well now.
now that you're building a custom set anyways lol

I have a rare weekday off tomorrow, which is nice because we’ve had guests this weekend and I haven’t been in the garage for a while. So, I thought I’d get a head start on a few projects. All of today’s parts are brought to you by the scrap bin.
I plan on getting my rear links in, but I’d noticed that I forgot to make provisions for the e-brake cable stay. I cut off a hunk of 1.5 x .188 square tube and tapped it for 8mm - 1.25. Seemed easier than welding on a nut, which I did not have. It sound also be strong enough for anything that I’d ever want to do there.
Next I moved on to my bump stops. As I mentioned earlier, I have a set of @plastics guy bump stops that exploded on install. I am fully aware that I over torqued the bolt. But, it left me very little confidence in them. So, I called wheeler and they sent me the “rubber only” for their rears. They were also cool enough to give me the measurements of their steel mount. What I wanted to do was make an entirely new mount, as opposed to adding a block. So, I dove into the scrap pile again.
This nut is going to be blind, so I did not want it busting loose!
These are just tacked for now. I’ll pull the wheels and make sure they line up the way I want them tomorrow. For those of you running an extended travel setup [MENTION=113049]rochmpr[/MENTION] ; do you think theses look too long? The bracket is 4.25” high. The Wheelers brackets are 1.25”, then I added 3” to that, to simulate a MT block. When I crawled under the truck, they look like they are really low. I know that cycling the suspension will be the best judge, just wondering what other setups look like?

Made use of the break in weather today and got quite a bit done. I’m not a fan of bleeding brakes, but it had to be done. At least I finally got the extended brake lines in.
I found this bottle on Amazon. The one I usually use is too small and I don’t like it. I guess I could have made one, but I went fancy. I’m glad I did, this thing actually worked out great.
I finally got the links installed, all but the panhard bar. I’m still sorting out the bolt and misalignment spacer sizes.
The finished bump stop is in this one as well. I’m happy with the outcome. We’ll see how they work out.
There was a lot of crawling around today. Too much, to be exact. I need a shop and a lift. At least I got most of the rear sorted out. I get a little driveline rumble, just before 70mph. I think a little tuning will take care of that. I also ditched the stock sway bar for now too. All in all, a good day.

Thanks, man! I love plasma cutting. What an awesome technology. I just picked up a new Hypertherm and man it’s awesome. I do ok with a gas axe, and I keep it around for extremely thick stuff, but plasma is just so much better. There was actually a time when I came dangerously close to getting a CNC table when I had a little fab/art thing going.
I like metal and art. Here’s a grave marker that I made for my buddy, who was killed in the Dumont dunes, many years ago.
If anyone is camping and exploring (aka Overlanding) in Death Valley, this is cemented into a hill top out there.

I know, I’ve been distracted! Between work and a new family toy... I’m hoping to tackle a few more things next month, like relocating my panhard mount and hopefully a new rear bumper!
For now, we’ve upgraded the camp trailer.
