Awesome thread man! Looks like you’re really taking advantage of the move to Colorado. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, moving to Colorado was the best decision my wife and I have ever made. We love this state.

I went the "cheap HID" route and bought everything from Amazon. With new TYC glass headlight assemblies, I spent $112 at the time.

I've never had an issue with light flicker with my set up. I absolutely love these lights and have no reason to upgrade to "better" components. Like many retrofits I've seen, these ones don't look like huge bug eyes too.
It's very simple to install, as the harness plugs directly into one of the OE headlight plugs (you do have to run one power and a ground too). The hardest part of the retrofit was adjusting the light pattern, but that's only because I was being extremely picky about it.
Hey Atomic, I want to go the same route you did. How is your current headlight conversion still holding up? The link I highlighted in RED is broken.
Would you be able to find that link again on what you bought? Thanks.
God that hill looks soooooo sketchy hahaha.

Cool videos! I like watching all the different vehicles make it up the same obstacle. That was a pretty good cross section of vehicles you had on that outing. Well done. I wasn't sure that the Porsche was going to have the clearance to make it up that hill.

She's lookin good! Nice job with the sliders.
I know you have some rust experience, so I thought you might be a good person to ask -- any idea where this rust is coming from and how to slow it down?? It was a bubble under the paint which I covered with grip tape about a year ago, but then the other day I noticed the grip tape was splitting so I peeled it back and it looks like it's gotten worse.
I can't locate where it's coming from/ how water is getting in there. Everything looks normal under the truck and when I peel the carpet back. Is there a drain here or something? Thanks!
Digging the recovery box and packaging, nice work!
