Hey everyone I replaced the stock speakers today with kicker speakers and I just installed them regularly but when I played them there was little to no bass at all which I wouldn't expect since they are kicker I have a sony xplod radio I am just curious if there is something I need to do do I need a amp? Or is it something else

you sure you wired them correctly? an amp would always be helpful, you should also be able to play with your settings in your deck... did you run any after market wire? whats the rating on the deck and or the speakers?

What is the model # of kickers you got, and did you just replace the front doors, or did you replace all of em?

When I got my Rockford Fosgate components up front in my Tacoma I was extremely disappointed in the bass. Then I realized that the woofers in the door are basically mid range or whatever, and had to get a sub to make it all work again. Also worth noting that my Tacoma just has door speakers and tweeters, since it's a regular cab, so this was a necessary step.

I replaced all four they are cs67 cs5 and they are probably mid range I guess but I feel like I have them wired incorrectly cause they are 30% of the soeakera I had so I am gonna take a look I am a amateur for sure
