Audio route- Sub/amp

Okay guys. So my budget for a sub/amp combo is 800 bucks.

I already have a Scion T1819 headunit that fulfills my bluetooth needs. I'm happy with the sound coming from the speakers, but feel a good sub would help complete my needs. I've been looking into the JBL sub enclosure (I have no stock subwoofer), but I think a 10 or a deeper 8 would be better suited towards my needs. I still want to retain as much cargo space as possible. Knowing this, I looked up a few custom boxes that the members have here.

This kind of set up would be perfect, as I still retain storage space, and have the sound I want.

I know there are companies that sell a vehicle specific box.

I'm asking you audio guys, with a 800 dollar budget, and the information provided. What route would you take or suggest?

As of now, I'm hoping to go with a custom enclosure for the Sundown E8v4 or SA8V2.
