Thanks, I think so too. We will see, tomorrow the headlights will be done and the grill has to sit up over night so it will be on Sunday.

Also, this is for HB 4x4 and whoever else was wondering why the coilovers look so cranked down. This is from Andries at OW:
The 2.0 kit utilizes 650 lb/in coils that are 14” long, this is certainly sufficient to carry a heavy steel bumper and even a winch. In fact this is equal to or better than what most high end coilover manufacturers offer for this platform, only King and SAW has options of 700lb/in coils (however their default offering for the 4Runner is less) and the rest offer 650lb/in or less coils. In most cases they also use shorter coils as well.

What can cause the illusion of the coilover cranked a lot, is the fact that the lower coilspring seat on the 2.0” kit is a flat design vs. the cone design we use on the 2.5” kit. This causes the lower portion of the spring to sit lower and the top adjustment collar to be positioned further down the thread, creating the illusion that there is a lot of preload on the coil. This is why the 2.0 kits have thread showing when shipped from the factory and the 2.5” kit has no thread showing.

Grill coming along; the mesh and emblem will not be here until wednesday so that's when it will be finished up. The chrome showing now will be painted white to match. The headlights will be done this evening.

And are you going to paint the emblem white also?

The headlights look great, too dark to take pics tonight. The hood and grill not so much, the guy doing my grill accidentally backed into his broken garage door while the hood was up and messed it up to the point that it is getting replaced. So when the new hood and grill get on it I'll take more pics. Guy was really sorry about it but said he is paying for everything and going to try to get a limited grill so it's already painted factory white. Buzz kill but my hood was pretty eaten up by rock chips from driving to Colorado twice and spending a winter there. So I guess it's nice to get a whole new hood. That's what I am telling myself so i won't be pissed.

How are you liking the 2.0 set-up after a few weeks?

I also have a guy off the tacoma forums who will be doing the "satoshi" grlle for me.

I'm going to acquire the newer style grille first as my 04 grille, would be alot of work to make it look right.
Living in a loft in the city, I don't want to mess with doing it myself.

I am still loving the new suspension, Mark as well as Andries say that this kit is fine for a winch and a bumper but not much more.

This guy is really good, he just had a little mess up with my hood is all. I am looking forward to seeing the grille complete also. I totally understand not wanting to mess with it yourself. It's going to look pretty good i think.

The FJ40 emblem looks like that guys white taco emblem but smaller. Yes it will be painted white also. It will look very similar to the taco's grille. That truck is where I hot the idea.

looks great, i like the ones burtman industries makes for the 03-05's but i dont think they would go good with my color, unless i got black wheels.

Burtman or Jaos makes one for the 06+ also and it looks a little better than the 03-05 one. The one my buddy is making I hope looks better than the burtman one though. Theirs kind of slants up on the bottom towered the center of the grill and mine is going to be flat. I can't really explain it but it'll look good

well if i do it, it will be after i get some black wheels and the rears made by burtman for mine show too much silver and other colors so ill just use night shades spray for the rear and buy the fronts. from what i understand its not new head lights its the case, correct?

Haha, I am too! I just dropped her off at the body shop this morning and I hope that the guy has the grille done by Friday so that the body shop can paint it professionally while the truck is still there. My emblem should be here today, as well as the mesh, and we had to order a new grille because the guy cracked the other one when he hit the hood; so the new grille should be here tomorrow. I get the truck back sometime Friday, so we will see!

I want to ask everyone, should I remove my center caps on my rockstars; paint the star on the center caps white or paint it black? (if i keep them on obviously)
