auto dimming rear view mirrors

Are there any other auto dimming mirrors on the market other then Gentex? I would like to get one with a navigation system and homelink system. Is there such a mirror on the market? I have a 03 4runner that I want to put it on.:cheers: HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Escort radar got one , but it has navi and backup feature. Seems to be at 499 on escortradar.com

The escort smart mirror does not have homelink for garage door. The main purpose for me wanting to change rear view mirror.

check ebay out on the gentex then, im pretty sure its universal swap, you just need to wire it up.

I got mine on ebay a couple years ago. I don't recall the brand, but it was the most common OEM rear view mirror brand. Mine has home link to program 2 garage doors, auto-dimming, and compass. It works perfectly and I like it a lot.

x2. The one I got was a Gentex with homelink/auto-dim/compass functions and a nice amber display that matches the rest of the interior. It works well and was pretty easy to install. I'm not sure of any other manufacturers, ebay seemed to have mostly Gentex though.

What about getting one of those and a separate nav system to replace the stock head unit?

I got an auto dimming mirror with compass and a homelink map light unit from a junkyard for $30 total. No navi but cheap and easy.
