Auto High-Beam Sensitivity

I drove a 2018 Rav4 for a while and the auto high-beams worked wonderfully. However, I just got a 2020 SR5 Prem and it's definitely not as sensitive or the delay is too long when turning on/off. After searching, it appears the only thing you can do is temporarily lower the sensitivity, which obviously isn't what I'm looking for.

Maybe it's not as sensitive because of the difference in height/profile of the 4Runner vs Rav4?
Which leads me to my next question...

I'm going to put a small lift on it to level it out. Does anyone know if raising the front will further reduce the auto high beam sensitivity?

I've got the exact same truck and never use them for that reason. By the time they respond to an oncoming car I'm getting brights flashed at me. I guess the tech was not that great at the time.

When you add a lift, you will need to aim the headlights again to be sure the low beam pattern does not blind oncoming drivers. That should not change the sensitivity. The low beam pattern is what is important with a lift.

Yep, I learned that with my 4th gen after I kept getting flashed lol. I just meant the sensitivity of the sensors for the auto high-beams on the 5th gen.

IDK, I think it works very well. I have 2023 and leave it on all the time. I like the way you can still dim them manually and the auto feature stays on. Obviously hills and bends are issue spots but it works much better than our 21 Volvo.
